Epidemiology of Substance Abuse
Here. Prevalences of 12 months, and lifetime substance abuse were 1.4% and 7.7%, of dependence, 0.6% and 2.6%. Treatment incidences were 8.1% for abuse, and 37.9% for dependence. Sociodemographic factors did not predict treatment, but rather psychiatric co-morbidity.
